How to use |
FIXING TO STEEL
- Measure the total thickness of the material to be fastened.
- Choose a screw long enough to allow at least three threads to protrude beyond the steel being fastened to.
- Drive with a #2 Phillips bit fitted to a power screwdriver set to a high speed - approximately 2500rpm. Do not overdrive.
FIXING TO TIMBER
- Measure the total thickness of the materials to be fastened.
- Choose a screw long enough to provide at least 20mm of thread embedment into the timber being fastened to.
- Drive with a #2 Phillips bit fitted to a power screwdriver set to a high speed - approximately 2500rpm. Do not overdrive.
